April 2023 Congratulations to Roni Gafni for successfully defending her PhD thesis
December 2022 We were awarded two grants from the Israel's Ministry of Agriculture Chief Scientist. The first is a study of spatiotemporal dynamics of weed patches. The project is a collaboration with Prof. Hanan Eizenberg (ARO). The second focuses on improving fruit fly management by modeling distributions under current conditions, predicting the impact of climate change on future distribution, and improving control precision. The project is a collaboration with Dr. Michael Ben-Yosef (ARO).
February 2022 Israel's Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Agriculture decides to fund our project on- Cover-crops as a mean to reduce herbicide use in field crops and their effect on weed community structure. This project is in collaboration with Dr. Maor Matzrafi (ARO) and Dr. Gil Eshel (ARO).
April 2021 Roni received the Teommim scholarship for outstanding students. Congratulation!
June 2020 Our group was awarded a grant from the United Stated-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF). This project is in collaboration with Prof. Mohsen Mesgaran from UC Davis.
